Woohoo got the centre cap from Killer sorted......it took a bit of wrangling, a closed cell foam spacer and some silicone, but I got it.

Started to blank off the holes in the rear tub left behind by an external roll cage, sorted out a bad earth on the wiring causing the sidelights on the trailer to go dim and flash when using the indicators. Turned out to be a bad earth in the wiring cluster by the back lights. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Well Dave (mostly) and me (a bit) finished off what we'd started yesterday, getting the new Masai sliding windows in and getting the roll cage back together! Bleedin' cold again and lots of snow showers.... not a good day for working outside but it is all done now!
I'm used to having dark tints on my rear windows, but the new ones are clear - really noticeable a)how bright it is inside the vehicle and b)how much of the inside of my 90 you can see from outside that you couldn't before. As the tinted windows from Masai were an extra £100 decided to go for the clear as I'm getting window guards anyway, so they may sort out both a) and b) and if not, we'll get some stick-on tint as that what was on before and worked fine... At the weekend / early next week the roof tent will be going back on! ready for camping in Scotland late March, so hopefully the weather turns for the better before then!
