key fob
Having had a flat battery last week, i tried to jump it with my pack and nowut happened Crying or Very sad
I called LRA they tried and could'nt even get it turning over with there leads eventualy it was the key fob as it started fine on the spare. So is it common that they fail? And are they warranty?and if so how do you get another one!!
Any advice would be great..... Steve

Batteries in key fob are a service item and are supposed to be changed every 2 years as part of the B service schedule. Thumbs Up LANDYWATCH

The only battery check on the 24k B service schedule is the main battery or alarm handset battery - whatever that is - is that the key fob?

That's correct. It does say "replace alarm batteries ". You may have to remind them. Thumbs Up LANDYWATCH

Hi, thanks for the call yesterday,i called into LPR in the afternoon and the nice lady in service reception told me how to reset the fob...... Thumbs Up which worked, so thanks anyway.

Looking for a good price for a second service Mr. Green been quoted silly prices as per usual. may have to find a indi as that seems the way to go maybe........ Steve

My dealer has said they'll price match the indi landrover specialist that is about 500m from their site, £200 off their initial quote! Thumbs Up Why don't they just quote competitively to start with?! I'm guessing their normal client base usually don't have to worry about money much............ Darren

that would be to logical, but like all things in this current climate (gas,leccy food, fuel)they all take the p**s with there greed
