Bulb replacement on land rover fitted spotlamps on A softbar
Apologies if this is out there, but I cant find if this has been addressed before, but I have a TD5 fitted with a factory fit soft A bar with Land Rover spots that are wired into the full beam. My daft question is how do you get inside them to change the bulbs? There appears to be 2 screws on the back and the clamp that holds the spot and sets the beam pattern. rather than muck up the alignment I just thought I'd ask for the wisdom of the forum, as somebody must have done this before. Thanks in advance.

Think there is a small screw on the very bottom of the bowl. Then they may need a bit of twisting, prying, to separate the two parts at the bottom and then unhook the tops.

^^ What he said ^^
I had the same problem but can I also suggest that before you rebuild the spots; you weatherproof them with some black B&Q bathroom silicon sealant... "Ease your worries, Clear-up your woes,

Thanks Landy Andy, but there is no small screw on the bottom. It appears that they only way to get at the back screws is to undo the clamps and rotate them taking them out of alignment. A small problem, but if I didnt have to use that option I wouldn't . Maybe thats the way to go if no better options appear. Weatherproofing them seems a good idea Too tall. You might be best putting up a pic of the lights so we can give you a definitive answer.

Blimey, I've just spent ages trying to work out how to post a pic on the Forum. I think the time would be better spent on working out how to remove the headlamp bulbs. Ok, it will be easiest to unbolt the light off the a bar at the top as there are three posidrive screws to undo on the back of the light then the bulb just unclips out.
Hope this helps

You may be able to loosen the bolt that holds the light on the a bar and just spin the light around instead of taking it off completely but be careful you don't break the wires Thumbs Up
