Towing a trailer with led lights
Does anyone know how to cure this problem I have fitted my ifor Williams with all led lights great on my defender if I tow it with my old mans disco 3 the indocators have a small pulse constant any idea how to cure this

When I built my trailer I used LED lights and had the same issue I ended up fitting ballast resistors to the indicators to make them function correctly and my towing tell tale work correctly. I chose to do it this way rather than changing the flasher unit as I tow other trailers and it would have messed the flashing rate on these up.

You need to change the flasher relay in the Disco for one which supports LED lights. There's loads on ebay or alternatively PM Tim at The Mobilecentre who's a site sponsor on here as he carries them.

It is definatly a cure but they do flash a bit slow for my liking If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

No flasher relay in a D3 as such (body controller), you will need ballasts or hidden bulbs I'm afraid Sad  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

He has others that cure the slow flash as well the early relays did this not the newer ones Thumbs Up
