Transfer box or this fabled gearbox rear adapator shaft thingy - talk to Ashcrofts!

I take it the tdci 6 speed box is as cr ap as the engine then!!...never had any of this with my 2004 td5 90 and thats nearly done 200k....bloody puma's ![]() |

The same happened to my 90 after about 19000 road miles.....
Been fine since though. Seems to be a load of good ones, but a fair amount of bad ones too... |

It looks like it isn't the transfer box after all...3 halfshaft plines and drive flanges are badly worn:-(
