Anyone fitted one of these to their motor?

Any genuine benefits or just a bit of bling?

IF you fit them as a pair, along with the internal pipework, then yes, some advantage as you can list over and cover one wing with water, but the engine will still be able to breathe through the other side.

Although IMO far easier to add a RAI.... just as the MoD did to a lot of the vehicles, removing one (or both) of these wolf intakes and just having a raised intake.... although I suspect this was more for dust intake rather than deep water wading.

The whole idea of the above was for the prevention of water 'splashes' into the intake pipes. Completely pointless paying for it unless it is for looks.
