Probably right. I get far fewer bugs on the windscreen on my S1 (with wheel on bonnet) than I do with the Puma (no wheel on bonnet), which suggests that the air is passing over the screen rather than hitting the screen. Bug strikes go up considerably if I put the wheel in the back.

And before anyone mentions speed, yes, the S1 will cruise at 70mph admittedly though not up hill.
