Sorry chaps but she has to be sold...
I've only advertised in Auto Trader so it's not getting much exposure. Will put it on Piston Heads when I get back from sailing, not sure where else to advertise her. Had a few calls from traders, one from a time waster and one last night from a genuine guy in Ireland, he's going to find out how much tax he will have to pay on Monday, I said it's classed as commercial so should be cheaper but wasn't sure. I'm in no rush, as my 109 isn't MOT'd yet I've only just found the boat I want last night... That and a nice TD5/TDi eventually for work will be just the job |

I've decided to part with my TD5, might be up your street as it's a pickup. Although it's a 90 and you might be after a 110? Anyway I will be putting an ad up here shortly I think, loads of toys on it and it's even got a full body under 2.2 110 Tipper |

Thanks Nick but the boat is maxing me out
Thanks FG Luckily there is not too much of a rush to sell mine as the boat is being sold by a company and it's coming in as a trade in. |

I may hold on for a few weeks, I can see me getting this 110 for a bag of marbles, 2 pork pies and a strawberry yoghurt.

The trouble is lack of exposure in the right place. I was banking on Auto Trader but it's only had 50 hits in a week. It's accurately priced looking at the market. I'll put it on Piston Heads also now that I am home for a while... EDIT - Just been speaking to a well known Defender Trader and he said the market is dire at the moment. Dealerships are struggling and going well over their factory 8% discount allowance. He said second hand Defenders however fortunately always hold up well in a recession but on the more prestige models they can loose up to 2k per month. He's advising owners of RR's etc to sell up and hire for a while until the market improves... |

That seems to be counter intuitive to me? (unless they are expecting the market to get even worse) |
