Well I hope she goes to a good home, thanks for the comments. I will be getting an old Defender eventually which I can get scruffy at work and use the Series again in the meantime. We will also be straight financially once i have sold my boat and so can gradually do up the house AND I get my dream boat which as a family we can have a lot of fun in.

My 17K lump has served me well getting me an old Jag, a new Defender and now my dream boat, great experiences. You've got to have a go at life and I'm going to do it in this Very Happy Bow down

The 1997 one is at the top of my list Thumbs Up Forget the 32K price tag, the boat market has been weak for while, good deals to be had, especially with these "premium" marques Wink

May wait until the winter when owners are getting even more desperate to sell

I dunno Zag, you've got from complete Puma novice bursting with 1001 questions to actual vehicle owner and then forum corrosion, valeting and vehicle expert all in the space of 18 months. Good luck with the sale, the new owner will be getting a nice looking vehicle Thumbs Up Steve.

Whilst also doing the same for yachts Laughing and there is a hell of a lot more involved Shocked This will be my 4th boat in 5 years, going from a simple slow 21' open lugger, to a fast 26' bermuden, to an on older Gaff rig and hopefully soon up to the serious bit of Gaff Crabber kit Bow down Well you've got to have a go haven't you...Just be glad your not on the sailing forums MOG Shocked Thank god for forums and helpful people, you can learn so much, so easily!

Vultures are circling Zag!....Why on Earth would he wish to remove the snorkel? Look at a set of fitting instructions and you'll see why!

Noooooo!! Shocked

You know how occasionally at motor shows and rallys there'll be a rare untouched mint condition old car there? One that was put into storage when it was 12 months old, then 15 years later it was brought out of storage, still looking mint, timewarp condition I think they call it...

A lot like this...

I think thats what needs to happen with your 110 Zag. Someone else has already said no one will look after it was good as well as you!

Good luck with the sale! Thumbs Up
