If I was fitting them again I would remove them from the so called template holder and position them by hand, one by one, that way the two words would be spaced better. They are a bit big really but now they are on I have got used to them and they certainly stand out!

I have seen them on there Thumbs Up A good way of being acurate would be using masking tape to keep a straight line but flip it upwards to remove backing tape then apply down again and hopefully perfect positioning or on the Puma remove the standard lettering and use the adhesive marks left behind to carefully fit by eye. Looks Good IMO Mr. Green

Drove to Halfords to pick up the Magnatec A1 for £17.50 / 4 litres in the 90 - used in 90 & tdci

Polished the 110's bonnet - too miserable for a trip on the plains Crying or Very sad

Busy day today -

Fitted the Td5 Tacho
Fiteed a new clock/inside temp gauge
Refitted the Engel ready for the camping season
Refitted the running water system
Fabbed some brackest for the Oz basket to save me having to drill holes in the roofrack
Cut the rear ladder to suit my wheel carrier.

Absolutly knackered now! 2002 Defender 110 DC

Went to a pay and play site and introduced offroading to a friend. Great day out and although small place (80ha) the sandy terrain was perfectly forgiving for the defender.

He went from “oh I wont go up this heavy hill” to “oh yes oh yes oooooh yeeees” and “that’s my girl, good car, good car I’ll buy you some additives” within an hour. Rolling with laughter

Back stabie bars went legs up, another tdci thing i'm not use to yet..



And i nominate the engineer who put the handbrake below the chassis rails for a Darwin award Mad

But other wise no hickups.
