What age Land Rover is it?

You can find information on previous owners of a vehicle if you send the relevant form V888 into the DVLA - check their website out here it costs £5

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ownin...G_4022067.

Unfortunately a lot of information was lost when the DVLA transferred info onto computers for the first time but this was years ago so you should be lucky if the vehicle is not too old! Many people didn't send in their old buff log books and also if a vehicle was off the road at the time of computerisation and came back on the road at a later date it wouldn't have it's history info Sad A new registration was allocated in that case.

You can also go into Gaydon and look through their records depending on the age of your vehicle, they hold records for Series 2 for instance, people go in regularly so you can ask if someone can look the details up for you. Thumbs Up Ring to check for access to the LR build records, they only allow it at certain times Thumbs Up

They will post you copies of all the old registration documents as it is only 15 years old which obviously includes the previous owners addresses as recorded, so you can get in touch with them if they are still at the same address Thumbs Up

When you fill the form in you have to state the info is for private use and will not be made public e.g. at shows or otherwise Thumbs Up
