Extreme4x4 progressive coil springs
Anyone ever used Extreme4x4's progressive coil springs ?

They claim they can reduce the choppy/harsh ride

£69 each.

Any experiences ?

I wouldn't touch Extreme 4x4 with a barge pole. There are many other better companies to buy from. John

Durite own Extreme 4x4 and have done since the original owner of Scorpion Racing went into liquidation.

I have used with no issues.

I tend not to be loyal to anyone company as even the bigger companies that advertise in the magazines can fail to call you back and as so many business's offer the same or very similar products I just go elsewhere.

Keith Gotts are fairly close to me as are Challenger 4x4 so when I have the time I support the local guys plus if they know you they are more likely to help you when you need them.

Mark

Ps going back to your original question, yes I had the progressive springs on my last 110. They are a very good spring. Just have in your mind exactly how you drive and the loads you are likley to carry and they will match the springs to your needs. Ask too if they will swap if you feel they are not quite right. Scorpion did that for me as well as swapping a shock absorber when I snapped the head off one during one of their novice winch challenge events I used to take part in.

Both my TD5 and now the Puma run on scorpion heavy duty back springs and anti roll bar never had any issues, will be looking for the same again for the new one soon. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Had a set on my last TD5 ... took them off, made it worse! Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.
