I recommend the Xpel Ultimate Plus 10 installed by a licensed installer. It's self-healing (in the hot sun or with a heat gun), and the 10 is their thickest (10 mils) film for off-road vehicles. You can usually choose shiny or stealth (matte) and add a ceramic coat over the top for ease of cleaning and to keep nasty tar/grease off of it.

I have Xpel PPF Ultimate plus. The lack of stone chips on the front is remarkable. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof

I am in Suffolk and have been requesting quotes from installers in the locality from the Xpel website. So far quotes are £2500 ("draft quote") to £4000 for a L663 110.

Xpel PPF is brilliant, it has saved the paintwork on ours from bush stripes on a number of occasions,
I believe Tim in Scotland has used it on both Defenders he has owned.. I went with the Ultimate Gloss as i was not into the stealth finish.. In OZ it now costs around 9.5K AUD for the whole vehicle, which is about 4000+ ish in his majesties pounds.. some people opt to just do the front and lower panels.. so you can save a few quid yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |
