That would be a great story and sentimental build for the machine.
I have made a few changes along the way so it would be well worth DMing me on instagram when the time comes. I have a lot to say about doing it over again too so do not hesitate to chat! :thumbs up: 4.0 V8 Defender 90 My Instagram |

This years change up for the V8 box:
I’ll be upgrading to the puma bulkhead. Reason for this is the fact I have booked for a timeless overland tour in France next year. And I want to be almost comfortable.. This is a county spec 2015 bulkhead. Meaning it accommodates for just electric windows and central locking. So I shall be aiming to have the puma dash and bulkhead in place. Along with everything else like the standard gearstick locations and such. AC is on the cards. I intend on utilising all standard LR items even the AC pump which I shall design a solution so I can attach that to the Toyota V8 engine. This should allow others in the future to convert these cars themselves and retain all standard features. Here’s hoping anyway. So far I have a full bulkhead and dashboard. I also have the fuse panel and floor panels, gear selector and transmission tunnel. I believe I’m in need of not much more. If anyone has done this before I am all ears. I intend on using my standard 10AS too. I’m very much looking forward to the extra comfort and even painting this thing, which I have never attacked before Click image to enlarge 4.0 V8 Defender 90 My Instagram |

Looks like this "small project is getting bigger already.
Couple of pics of what I have been up to recently. Click image to enlarge Eaton M112 Supercharger to come! This should be a great winter project for the Toyota V8. Looking forward to the CAD and machining work this will require. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge A very special rear view mirror for a man with a very unique 50th anniversary. I reckon I will be making a hand full of these now. Click image to enlarge A Billet wheel thats on the back burner for now but hopefully I will have one in my hands for my France trip next year. Click image to enlarge Couple of gearsticks/ knobs for an Aston Martin. I plan on making some for the puma once I have that bulkhead in. Click image to enlarge Regarding that Bulkhead I have prepared the open panels for paint. And used Gravitax stone chip on the engine bay side as well as footwells. for a 2015 year bulkhead this really required some work. Quite a lot on the go next to working a full-time job and attempting to get a business going lol. 4.0 V8 Defender 90 My Instagram |

Thanks Linds,
The first mirror arm accommodated the new Defender rear view. I don’t see any reason why my next one cannot fit the standard mirror. I am producing another this week which will hold the standard mirror. Get in touch if you're interested either on here or through instagram. My Instagram |
