l am genuinely interested as to how l will get on with another "classic" Defender having driven a new one for three years.

l will then have to decide which one to keep.

Update

The part has come into stock so l should have the Defender back soon. l hope that the new inverters are more reliable, l wouldn't want that fault to occur in the middle of nowhere because it's going to leave you stranded unless you're carrying a spare inverter.
