Back in the early 80’s my friend had a 1975 Vauxhall Firenza, the 2.3 model. At the time it was amazingly quick , beating off XR3i’s etc with no problem. I’ve not seen one before or since, but there must be a few still out there.

Great fun was had in the mid 70's with a Blydenstein tuned ex Dealer Team Vauxhall droop snoot Firenza.
I can't find any pictures but it was a proper beast. Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

That ones seen better days... but still an iconic look, like a miniature 1970’s USA muscle car. The more I see it again the more I like it, the droop snoot is a separate in my mind “ marmite” look, but I think the original front end stands the test of time better.

One of the few cars I would buy and keep as a classic.

Spotted this quirky camper yesterday. A Ford Cortina Starcamper 6 wheel. Reminded me of Whacky Races. Craig.

Extra point for Dick Dastardly and Mutley sniggering from the window.

What a weird weird machine. I have never seen anything like it?

Overtook a Daihatsu Fourtrak Fieldmaster the other day. What surprised me so much was I always remembered the Fourtrak for being quite sizeable - bigger than the Sportrak at least! But it looked tiny compared to modern 4x4’s and SUV’s.

Was the blue and silver Capri only done for the 1.6 Laser? (That’s a question for Capri afficianardos s I really can’t remember).
The 2.8i in my memory always seemed to be in black.

You might not like the Capri but the new electric Ford Capri looks nothing like the original. Not sure why companies reuse a car name from years gone by.

Do you think Ford will ever make another Anglia or Prefect?

Capri 2.8i was available in various colours. I had one each of blue, white and red in the 80s and 90s.
The later 2.8i ‘Special’ had an LSD which made it a ‘little’ better going round corners, but still hair raising.

They also did a number of special editions and I seem to recall there was a blue over silver ‘Cabaret’ or similar aswell as the 2.8i in those colours.
