Footwell and dash tray lighting

1999 Td5 110 CSW
The interior is so dark at night. I would like to install blue lighting for the dashboard tray and for the front footwells. I have looked at a lot of options online, but I can’t find lighting that’s bright enough to illuminate, yet dim enough to not interfere with night vision.

Any suggestions are welcome.
