Hi low gear change
Hi new to site can anyone out there help please the high low connection rod to the box is supposed to have a lever with a ball joint on the end were plastic connection goes, as come out so can't select hi or low we're do you find a new part looked all over the Internet and no luck puma 2.4 2010

Are you saying the connecting rod, with the black plastic connector on the end that attaches to the transfer box is missing, or the black plastic bit is missing, or the black plastic bit has detached from the LT230. Noting with the latter it can be reattached to the LT230 by depressing the lock button and pushing it back on.

If the rod or rod plastic end is missing unfortunately it’s not available separately, it’s part 3 in this picture and is the whole lever and linkage as one https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/p...and-rover/

Part number LR018374 - Linkage

Cheaper to buy used part from breakers or on eBay.

Damm, it’s either a breaker or its going to cost a lot to buy the whole lever mechanism !!

Czech Republic 1999 Defender 130 Td5 HCPU Baltic Blue
TD5 transfer boxes has switch for this. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Thanks for all the help gents but sorted now used ball end of a gas strut thread lock and nut works better then factory
