I’ve had the fix Sockeye - it’s not fully fixed it and JLR acknowledge this. They have approved my rejection on this basis.

Specifically in my car (others may differ) but since the update mine isn’t rolling back in drive as much, only experienced it a couple of times, but the car still seems to struggle in setting off, and it still rolls forward when on reverse. So it has helped things but not completely. Personally I did not want to wait X amount of time for them to come up with a full fix, so have pursued rejection

What are you going to replace it with, would you consider a Grenadier?

On the 17th August i received an over the air update which include a fix for 'propulsion systems'. This didnt appear to fix the problem.

Today i got another one with the same desciption and while I don't want to get too excited just yet it does appear to be pulling away more seamlessly. Taking my foot off the break there appears to be minimal delay in pulling forward and it actually went forward when the accellerator was pressed rather than revs climbing and not going anywhere.

Anyone else also get the update yet and notice the same?

An update for my situation. I had a dealer inspect the vehicle with me a few weeks ago. They agreed there is an issue but at the time there were no fixes for it. They did re-do the gearbox adaptations and that improved the rolling back issue. It did not go away completely but it certainly improved.

A couple of days ago I received a notifications for a software update. The second within a few days, the version is 4.3.3 which specifically address the propulsions and transmission. I have only had the update for a day but I certainly feel that it had addressed the rolling back and the immediacy of the acceleration from a stand still.

Will keep monitoring but fingers crossed the update did address the issues!

Sounds good.

I just received 4.3 update, but book with the dealer for Monday to get the patch applied. Lets see if I get something different.

I done my online update, but it did nothing and the issue remains, it did say there was an update to the TCM for MY25 models in the description.

Edit: Just read the recent update was 4.3.3 mine was 4.3.0, so maybe that's why.

Also received 2 updates within days. The second one 4.3.3 seemed to address this issue. I can clearly feel a difference. Let’s hope this issue is now resolved. I have driven 18000km like this, so it’s about time.
