You shouldn't need to touch any of the 3 temp sensors..in fact they can be difficult to remove even with the pipe off the vehicle..
Look back at my earlier photo..its not great but you can see the differential pressure sensor connections..and I've already explained how I think you best go about checking they are clear.. |

With this hot weather the popping has decreased massively but the DPF light came on again and then went off after a high rev drive round the lanes.
Is it now time to remove the DPF and have it professionally cleaned. |

So your dpf light is coming on but you still haven't said if you checked the sensor pipes or indeed got a figure for the differential pressure to confirm it warrants a fault light..
Suspect if you take it somewhere to be done they would at least confirm this before attempting a clean.. I also wouldn't be surprised if they also tell you it can be cleaned in siteue, cause they are a pill to get out, certainly from below.. I think I've seen reference to it been removed out the top which likely saves getting to engine mounts on that side. Good luck with it and look fwd to hearing how it goes..👍 |
