2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Indus Silver

Serpentine Belt Change parts list.

Hello there.

I have a 2011, 2.4 110 without air conditioning. It’s on 107k and I was thinking the serpentine belt, tensioner and idlers probably want changing.

I called my local motor factors the other day to ask if there was a kit available to do the job like a timing belt, water pump kit for a car. No, was the answer.

Does anyone have a parts list to do the job, or are there kits on the market. I have seen the tensioner and belt on eBay, but the idlers want doing while in there. Good practice and all that.

If you do a search you will find some topics on just changing the pully bearings plus the bearing part numbers.

At 107k you probably just need the belt, and probably not even that.

Unless you are having problems with pulleys and the tensioner, leave them alone.

I agree with Blackwolf on that, they are surprisingly easy to change the belt.

They are recommended I believe to be replaced around every 50k, but they are often in good condition, I think it’s age that is more of an issue that comes in rather than miles. ____\We|Will|Win/___
