Excellent! Looks great fun.
Do the screws in those T-shaped brackets on your bed structure go right through the wood to a corresponding bracket? What are they called? Cheers! |

![]() No - the brackets are just on the one face albeit against my usual approach of over complicating things . . . . ![]() They were from the hardware section at B&Q The frame is snug against the wheel boxes so there’s no movement at all & it’s super strong. |

Careful ! this is very similar to how we converted our first 110 in the 80’s... things can get expensive !!
![]() We used that for several tours around the UK, but then went onto more complex conversion with a water tank and pump etc., which also worked well before version 3 which was fitting reclining seats, cooker/sink units and a wardrobe as part of a doormobile conversion - that worked well and was used in 2 110’s till we moved to version 4 - which is the current pop top conversion ... Its a Rabbit hole and once you start these conversions you are always looking to improve them some how ... Well done for how you have converted so far! looks great ![]() Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 ![]() |
