hello, from Gap team support i got this - does anyone help how proceed? I am begginer

B12BD-96 Rear Camera - Component internal failure
Rear proximity camera internal failure
NOTE:
DO NOT replace the near field sensing module for this DTC

Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment inspect the status bits for this DTC on the DTC information page. For this DTC, any one of the following combination status bits need to be set for the DTC to be valid (for example, there is a "Yes" against all of the status bits listed below)
Test Failed (Bit 0)
Test Failed This Operation Cycle (Bit 1)
or
Confirmed DTC (Bit 3)
If none of the above combinations are valid ignore this DTC (the customer may not have experienced non-operation of the near field sensing system features)
If the DTC is valid (any one of the combinations is true) follow the instructions below
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
If the fault persists, install a new rear proximity camera

it's strange, yesterday the camera started working by itself ( first i deleted the errors but that didn't help)...
on the one hand I'm happy, on the other
I'm more worried about when it will happen again in the future when the car is no longer under warranty

hello, I noticed that the parking camera stops working after a few days after I restart the park assist (it works great, the car parks itself, without problems). Does the person for whom the park assist works also have the rear camera working after a few days?

Question on this - were both front and back cameras not working when the reverse one stopped working in the pivi display? Wondering to what extent these two cameras are connected and if one goes down whether that influences the other as on mine it seems to be the case. I’m experiencing camera issue but not sure if it is the forward or the back cameras that are fault as both work intermittently. Below GAP readings -

NFSM-Near Field Sensing Module

B19FE-31 (2Cool Front Bumper Centre Camera - no signal
U3000-49 (6Cool Control Module - internal electronic failure
B12BD-31 (2Cool Rear Camera - no signal
B12BD-96 (6Cool Rear Camera - component internal failure

I hit a deer a few weeks ago and some wires were broken as part of the damage to the front of the car.
Both front and rear parking cameras stopped working. MY23 XS 110 D250

how did you manage to repair the wires - assume it was the coaxial that was damaged? did you have to replace the bumper camera as well?

Was it difficult to do?

I have the same issue and would be keen to know if the front camera swap is a hard job and what the part cost is.

Ordered the front camera from eBay at a cost £65. The fitting was simple enough, initially thought I needed to take off the front bumper, but then realised it is actually easier to unscrew the 5 bolts (on the front bumper) then get a ratchet into the space holding the camera and unscrew the camera mounting there’s 3 screws there without having to remove the full bumper.
