Thanks Nick... finally someone has answered the question that I initially asked.
Just out of interest... do you not have CoCs in the UK? I know that in France they don't deliver them with new vehicles, but everywhere else that I know of give it automatically when you purchase your vehicle. The issue is that the iGuide is not actually classified as a legal document, and the towbar itself has 350Kg marked on it. |

I guess JLR has the legal certification but customers here aren't given a copy.
So I can only go by the iGuide. As you know, that says 150kg in the 'Maximum weight' column for the Nose Weight (Certified). I have to assume that the key words here are 'maximum' and 'certified'. I did have a, admittedly fairly quick, look at my deployed tow ball and didn't see any weight markings. 23.5MY 90 V8 Carpathian grey |

The owners manual contains 68 pages of Declarations of Conformity. It might be worth getting hold of one and reading through to see if there is anything relevant in there.
