Hard to tell. In theory you should thoroughly clean it all over and then spot the leak source.

It implies removing the transmission tunnel and the middle plte under the cubby box. Puma 110" SW

If it’s from the top of the box it could be from the breather banjo bolt. Like MK says, try removing the cubby box and the access cover from inside the vehicle which will allow you to see directly onto the top of the transfer bo to make identification of the source of the leak easier. It only takes a few minutes to do.

The usual "upper" leaking point is at the front between the front output housing and the transmission. It is the shaft that supports the intermediate gear cluster. It is sealed by an o-ring and is not properly located. This allows a bit of movement that gradually wears the bore and then the leaks start. You can clean it off and coat it with sealer but that is just temporarily masking the problem. The T/C needs to come out, be stripped, and the machined for a steel sleeve. Ashcroft sells the repair sleeves.
