Ratio change with ATB?
Evening all,

Is it possible to alter the gear ratio in the LT230 at home even if you have an ATB installed already?

I have a Winchester gears stage two but I’ve since gone from an R380 to a ZF GS6. And of course now it’s cruising a bit high.

Would I encounter an issue?

The ATB will make no difference to a ratio change. If you are a competent gearbox mechanic it is an easy job.

That’s good, I’ll get a gear set ordered.

I’ve done an engine rebuild and conversion so I should be gravy doing this to be fair. 4.0 V8 Defender 90
