My 90 is due to return to the road after a 10 year hiatus and will require extended wheel arches to pass an MOT.
![]() Click image to enlarge I'm not keep on the versions that require self-tappers through the body work and would like some that are flexible - the original arches were a flexible material and could be trimmed with a stanley blade however the replacement copies I purchased for the rebuild were brittle and crack or snap when dragged around trees etc. I ripped one off just the other day, at a P&P site. Does anyone have any experience with the +40mm version by Britpart? Are they brittle or flexible? Do they infill the gap between the front wing skin and the inner wing? https://www.lrparts.net/lrc1418-set-of-fou...O8QAvD_BwE Thanks in advance, Harry 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop 1989 300Tdi 90 Soft top 1992 200Tdi 90 Truck cab with Land Cruiser axles |

Hi, you need to cut the front normal trim up to get the whole filled in the front wheel arch, they pop straight on after that. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |

They are flexiable, you can hit a tree and the pop back, not that I have tested that 😂😂😂 Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
