All brake lights stopped working so that's been my morning. Bit of a head scratcher to diagnose.. I was thinking electrics corrosion down under but turned out to be the conductive strip on the tailgate window had a bad connection and was knocking out all 3 lights!

Decided to fit the heater control in the cubby box, simplifies the wiring and incorporates a trinket/phone tray

Re-sprayed my bonnet checkerplate this afternoon! Fairly long & monotonous job but very happy with the ‘after’ Mr. Green

Thanks Tobias, I’m chuffed with it! I’ll caveat first by saying I am in no way an expert on all things paint, and there’re no doubt plenty of others here who actually know what they’re talking about Rolling with laughter

I first cleaned it (deep clean) to remove all the dirt, mud, grease, oil, etc
I dried it
I sanded it down with some mid-weight sandpaper
I then did 2 coats of primer
Then sanded that down once dry
Then finally I did 2 coats of matt black paint.

I used these two from Halfords. About a tenner each.
