Vacuum pump

Can anyone tell me what the blanked off pipe on the vacuum pump is for.. Something I don't have fitted or a test point???
It's the 2.2 tdci with the pump mounted on the rear of the head..

It appears that's it's not a connection that is used as standard on the defender then.. 👍
