Land Rover 110 V8 cast manifolds to Range Rover conversion
Sorry been lurking for a while but now a good way into my 110 V8 (1985) rebuild and improvement. I'd read about moving to Range Rover cast manifolds but never found a post with all the bits photographed. For mine I needed the two cast iron manifolds + two down pipes + Y piece but I also needed to change the gearbox crossmember.

This is a good mod - I connected mine to a TD5 system, much bigger bore and a sensible increase in noise.

Once done it's worth swapping the needles in the carbs for BBW, that gives a huge improvement in drivability.

I'm going for these manifolds, Weber 500 downdraft, MegaJolt with the manifild pressure advance and a temperature sensor choke. I'm also sticking a lambda sensor bung somewhere so we can then do a rolling road final tune once we've run it a bit.

Have you thought about one of the Holley Sniper or FiTech injection systems? 90 V8 CSW - 1988

Looked at going the full fuel injection route but had quite a lot of other "stuff" to get done. I have a Thor manifold and injector rails ready and waiting. At least with the MegaJolt I'm half way there ....
