Wheel bearing was all good, just a slightly bent dust cover for the brake disc, straightened out and all good now.
Passed an MOT and back on the road Still a fair list of bits to fettle and sort (oil leaks ) but so nice to have it back on the road and go out for a spin on an evening soft tops were made for: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Matt. great result there! One thing id say is security, optimil steering boss on that, so you can take the wheel off it. Stops the sweet hearts from trying again Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Cheers all
Out and about, few more miles done - just a shame the weather hasn’t always been particularly soft top friendly the last few weeks!! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge As per Procta’s advice, Optimill boss with Mota-lita wheel is on. The wheel is lovely, I was originally a bit annoyed about having to give up the factory 4 spoke wheel that I really like but this new one has a lovely feel. Click image to enlarge Had a rather agricultural go at improving the tracking after noticing a bit of inside shoulder wear on the fronts, seemed to be a good bit out so hopefully this will be an improvement. Click image to enlarge Finally for a bit of bling - slapped some left over paint on the rocker covers There’s still some general tidying up to do in the engine bay for more aesthetic photos Click image to enlarge Matt.
