Five minute facelift
Fitted a new genuine grill and light surrounds I bought at Newbury Spares Day the other week.
The faded surround has been annoying me for a while and have tried to re-black it but it always fades back to grey๐Ÿ˜ก

Simple job, but very satisfying!

Looks good! It's amazing what a difference some new trims makes.
I found using a heat gun (gently!) on the trims when they start to fade last longer than 'back to black' style plastic treatments.

Cheers,

Paul

Now thatโ€™s something Iโ€™ve never heard before ^ and I think Iโ€™d be too scared to do it - but if it works ๐Ÿ‘

I find the best treatment is boiled linseed oil on a cloth just to re oil the plastic this is an attempt I made

I just use ATF on a cloth annually.
