...I appreciate I failed at attending the GB land rover show the other weekend after starting the thread about it Big Cry , BUT we have tickets to the LRGG weekend and just wondering if any of you fine Ladies and Gents will be attending?

I would have gone as its on 30 minutes from me but we are away celebrating my birthday over in Norfolk.

Is the guy who organised this not the one who spent time in prison for deception and fraud? I think that he organised something last year to break the record for the biggest number of Defenders/Land Rover in one place?

I don’t know anything about the event nor the individual/organiser who has been convicted of fraud, but if the latter is true, then that is surely reason enough not to attend? It is from my perspective.

If the two things are unconnected, then I hope those who attend have a great time 👍

I know some people who attended last year, and they're going again this year, so I can only go by their recommendations.

I'd imagine he's making some money from it, but he's putting in a lot.

Well, I'll let you know if we arrive to an empty field Laughing But supposedly there is supposed to be a few bands, a few drink bars, there are some other businesses attending the event too... I'll try and cross check.. The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html

I am off to the Gaydon Land Rover show on 4th 5th May.

Used to go every year, when it was the Heritage Run, but Covid stopped that .

Looking forward to it.

Well, we made it!

Arrived 7:59pm... so just within the 8am-8pm time frame Laughing

I don't think it's too late to join in, if anyone is considering it?
Already chatted to some friendly folk Very Happy

Unfortunately a bit too dark (and windy and wet Rolling with laughter ) for pictures, so I'll leave you with this!

I'll have a walk about later and get some pics of various Defenders and Series knocking about. From a distance lots of interesting looking vehicles about. The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html
