![]() could you use the faultmate MSV-2 to its full use or would the nanocom be better for td5 defender.? any more input into this would be a help. |

The BAS remap interface is not what you need for diagnostics though it does program map files.
The best tool is the MSV2 which will program map files and do all diagnostics in most cases is vin lockedunless ordersin MV form, The nanocom with the same functions in a hand help color touch screen package and is not vin locked. If you want mobile standalone use on any TD5 engine diagnostic tool then you need a Nanocom Evo. {ete |

did a search and this is what I found......
I see mention above of a the remap device also reads basic fault codes.... can someone tell me what faults codes are basic and what fault codes over and above this a nono com would pick up. also would the nano com pick up ALL fault codes? looking for something that will function on a 2.4 puma and disco 3 (2.7 v6) many thanks. |

Do you think you be happy with a fault reader? or is it just going to cause you a load of stress worrying about fault codes and the imminent self destruction of your engine. PM lorryman he may be kind enough to explain fault codes to you.
