Also worth checking you haven't disturbed the earth connection that runs from the battery to the chassis out the battery box and onto the chassis passenger side. This is prone to corrosion and when mine wouldn't start it took me ages to trace the fault. Replaced the earth cable and all came good. Similar symptoms, everything came to life but just not a good enough connection to fire the starter.
good luck

Should run from negative battery through the side of the seat box and onto the chassis, from there it branches to gearbox. These connections get corroded and brittle and then don't provide enough of an earth to power the starter. I replaced the jumper from chassis to gearbox to fix my issue
good luck.

Thank you, Sir. Good picture. I inspected that ground and while it is old, the clamp connecting the wire to the chassis is intact. Not assessing the need to conduct the Britannica sandblast and re-solder.

I seem to be having immobilizer issues as well. Original fobs are functional, but won't re-mobilize the truck; she's a '98 CSW, no power locks. Alarm has never sounded, but I get single blink (engine side small orange light) feedback upon unlock, no feedback upon lock other than a double click from RHD driver side. EKA isn't working either.

I've started to take the dash apart today to get a look at the green alarm box back there, and I've just discovered evidence of rodent meanderings on the plethora of wires back there. Nothing appears to be chewed clean thru, just several plastic sheaths a bit mangled. On to figuring out how to test the ignition switch and alarm fuses/relays.

Had knee surgery Tuesday. The mental anguish of both these issues at the same time is wearing me thin!
