Land Rover Facebook page - Stolen Defender
Are many people on here on FB too? I was not until recently when we decided to set one up for our Defender - I somewhat detest FB, but it's been useful for a few purchases and often provides somewhat of a 24hr community in the event of problems etc...

That being said, it's still the toxic place I realised it was when I decided nearly 15 years ago to quit - Saw one guy asking for advice about prices for a job only to be met with "It will be whatever the garage charges" comment...

I also see that it provides some up to date information to a wide audience, such as this post regarding a "police aware" post of what seems to be assumed is a stolen Defender, and maybe someone on here knows of an owner?

I don't blame you. It's been handy for finding a few bits and for a little research, but in the words of Kevin Bridges, 'if FB was a pub you'd probably have a look around and go "it's full of p****s in here, lets go somewhere else"' Rolling with laughter The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html
