2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SW Alpine White

Trip to Jabulani Safari

Hi all,

We recently went on a quick break to Jabulani Safari in Hoedspruit, close to the Kruger National Park. It's a Relais & Chateaux lodge, and we highly recommend it!

Most of the photos are of ellies, because the reserve contains Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development (https://herd.org.za/), an elephant orphanage, where one can interact with the ellies, feed them, etc.

Some of the ellies featured in the Netflix movie Holiday In The Wild (https://www.netflix.com/title/80231468), and parts of the movie were also filmed there.

Beautiful. Disappointed that there are no Defenders in the wild photos though

^ that's cos the only Puma in their fleet was in the shop

jokes aside, very few lodges run Defenders, they've all converted to Land Cruisers due to reliability concerns --

I had a similar issue and ended up using high-definition wifi photo frames from Nixplay. They let me share road trip pics with family instantly without messing about with texts or emails. Super easy to set up, and my folks love seeing fresh shots pop up without needing to lift a finger. Beats printing and sending stuff the old way, especially when you're always on the move.
