When you say £1800 all in does that include the winch etc? If so that is a good deal.

I like Lucky 8 and have been looking at the rock sliders they have. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Yep I can’t remember the exact final amount because I had to pay the import tax separately but it was around that, including the kit, winch, rope, fairlead and hook.

The winch alone seemed to be about 50% cheaper than buying in the UK - I guess there is just a bigger, more competitive market over there!

Why a hitch receiver in front, what's your purpose for that ?

£1800 all in sounds like a bargain compared to the Land Rover price, or is there VAT and import duty on top of that? I take it you went with the WARN VR-EVO 10s.

As it looks like I may be keeping this one long term I think it makes sense to have a winch fitted.

Mike can you give me an idea of what cost was involved in the supply of the mount please? There doesn't seem to be much info on their website.

From memory around 1250 plus import etc

Ill dig out the email/invoice tomorrow

Both reul and red winch were great companies to deal with. 👍

Great posts and pics, am I reading correctly that the hidden winch is a no-go on the petrol models? Would love to have a winch, surely there's a workaround to be had?

Defendit. I'm curious about the extra lights fitted on the Reul kit. Is that something you did?
