Heater Box - decals
A bit random…

As I’ve purchased a few bits and bobs to improve the aesthetics of the heater box, I have another job on my (long) 2024 to do list - to prep and repaint it.

Does anyone know if/where you can get the new decals?

I’ve found a couple of the large decals for the front face (BTR035?) but they are sold out!

Any pointers?

Cheers,

Will

^^^ I used them, good quality. When I ordered there was a hack on Royal Mail, so delivery took a bit longer, but they offered a replacement. Luckily the decals turned around before they sent replacements. Thumbs Up

But I could not find the later heater box decal on his site as needed one for a Td5. But I never asked. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

I don't like being overly open with the case that I haven't got a clue half the time, but then if you don't ask you don't learn ....can someone explain what is going on in this thread? Laughing The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html

When you open the bonnet on your defender there is quite a prominent large white sticker visible which is on the heater box. It obviously deteriorated over time and to smarten up the engine bay you can buy a reproduction and reapply.

There are some places you can buy the sticker which is being discussed here.

I have been meaning to buy this sticker so interesting discussion for me. Obviously the sticker is just an aesthetic, but we can discuss everything and nothing Defender on this forum.

Yes indeed ^

A company called ‘I Say Ding Dong!’ was recommended to me and they came up with the goods.

Apologies if my light-hearted update confused matters - I was just having a little bit of a dizzy moment 👍

I am going to ‘refresh’ my heater box and wanted to apply a new decal/sticker afterwards.

Hahah, no not at all. I just had in my mind "heater box decals"? thinking, heaterbox is in the engine bay so is this some "heat faster" stripe or something. But I get it now! The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html
