If one is splitting then it probably won’t be long before the other hose splits too. Better change them soon.

So it's the hoses needs changing only yep.

It should be just the two hoses that need replacing, one in, one out of the intercooler. Use silicon ones from Bell auto services or Allisport.

If you still have trouble after changing those two, the intercoolers themselves can split at the seams & there's also a third hose low down & difficult to access going into the inlet manifold. Looks like you have the culprit in your photo though.

I believe the OP has a 2.4, and therefor 2 hoses, where as the 2.2 has 3 hoses, including that difficult 90degree bend to the inlet manifold .
