After a few weeks under canvas in Namibia, it would be rude not to make the most of the late summer weather at home Wink

Winch fitment almost done. Those annoying captive bumper bolts took way longer than expected to get back in place so will have ro finish off tomorrow

Nice bumper. Their secret with the bumper bolts is to chamfer the end of the bolts by about 5mm. Makes them so much eraser to locate in to the captive nuts. As is said... "Grease is the word"... Thumbs Up

When I came to fit my winch bumper I found the the previous owner had given up with the captive nuts, they were missing altogether and the bolts had just been dropped through the holes.

As I didn't had the captive nuts I used nylocs, which were extremely fiddly to fit and are still there now.

Part of the problem is the lower holes in the new bumper aren't quite.as.large as the original meaning everything was a bit more fussy when trying to get the alignment.

On now though, will get the wiring done this week
