TD5 OBDII port wiring
A while back I removed the OBD port from my defender for security reasons with the intention of putting a hidden 4 wire socket someone else in the vehicle and using an adapter loom to reattach the standard socket when required. Unfortunately, in the interim, i've managed to lose my socket!

Does anyone have a part number or pin diagram for the socket? I can see the pin numbers in the standard wiring diagram but I can't seem to find a picture of the correct socket with the pins numbered

Are you building your adapter or re-installing it back to original?

If the adapter, then you can use this socket from the site shop:

https://www.disco3.co.uk/shop/obd2-socket-housing-p67.html

If you want the original the LR part number is YPC107920 (about £3 from a dealer before any discount)

Pinout
4 - Ground (Black)
5 - Ground (Black)
7 - K-Line (Pink)
8 - Alarm (Orange with Light Green)
16 - 12V Battery (Purple with Brown)

This is viewed from the connecting side not the wire side.

I can supply the terminals bare or with wire (can do other colours on request):
