Well done Procta Bow down

You will find a huge difference when you drive the 90 now and you have the white lettering on the outside, even on the spare Wink

Good luck for Monday Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

Its never moved since the diesel leak, plus the MOT has expired too. With the law been the way it is now, I will get caught.
Plus the spare wheel isn't secured properly either.
But yeah its worlds a part now from what it was! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Yeah I kept with the white lettering theme, like my old wheels. The tyres on those I think were starting to see better days, after looking at the dreads.
The black caps are here if you want them for yours, for free. Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

well my little spacers came today for the spare wheel, so that's now sorted. I may take it for a quick drive around the block tomorrow to see how things are, before I move her back to her car parking space, as my parents are back tomorrow, so she is in our terr's spot. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Thanks fella, I have just come back from a quick little run around the block to see if things are ok. I have to adjust the stops, but I will get the Mot tester to do that, while its in for an mot and timing belt change.
Its worlds away from what it was with those crap wheels on, you wouldn't think it was the same motor!
Its miles better on the road and a lot more comfy too, Very Happy
compared to when I first got the defender, its really has come on a long way, Even though the changes are not much to write home about. But they made a massive difference! Just got to see what happens with its mot. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

well its in, for an MOT and timing belt change, I have asked to see the old belt, due to the fact that I don't think its had a proper service. Judging by what we have found in the past ( brakes and OIL)
Be an interesting one if its going to go through with the EGR deleted. due to the new regs.
Also why are garages not welding anymore? This place is a 4x4 specalist and he even he said they wont touch it welding now. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

They are still on with the belt change, from what the lass behind the counter told be, he has been on with the car for the best part of the day, including the mot. She said he is having a right old time with one of the pulleys, I said so that's not been changed then, which makes me think it hasn't had a service at 90k, judging from what I have sorted out and now hearing that. I have asked to see the timing parts for the crack! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

basically its a couple of hours if that with a spanner. bearings need a tight up, a flexi hose needs to be relined, and a dust cover needed to be put on. Also a head light needs the beam setting. One bush from the anti roll bar needs sorting out, which I am a little miffed at, as that was only fitted at the start of the year! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

yeah I was expecting a lot worse, but then again we had that last year, with the welding. £400 quid. Be interesting to see the timing belt stuff mind. Coming from the feed back, I don't think its even had a belt change! Its sitting on 125k! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
