The fuse should be under the steering wheel (LHD at least) and it is red 10A and the bulb it is a normal 21W one contact. Puma 110" SW

the bulbs i bought today have just arrived and have tried one with no result and also i have now tested the original bulb and that still works. I have checked all the fuses and they're all fine and i've also tried various lights on lights off ect ignition on and off ect whilst selecting reverse i still get nothing Confused The red fog light on the other side works fine on it's own switch but the reversing light just seems to be dead Big Cry

Try moving the connector when its on

Check the contacts are good (bulb and plug)

Switch the connector from the back of the reverse bulb to the fog lamp and vice versa Mike

I shall have to try this only annoyance is i have to take the ladder part off to get the light out. I shall let you know. Failing this i think it must be reverse selector switch of which i don't have a clue about.

Quick trick.

Im not sure if you can get the bulb out on the puma from the back like you could on the v8. but you can't you can certainly disconnect the unit.

So the side you have accessible take to the other side and test the holder there.

Obviously you can go for a multimeter across the pins aswell.

A flexible screwdriver may help to get the screws out to slight the fitting off? Mike

I have tried swapping between fog and the reversing light both work on the fog light connector to the reversing light bulb and holder is working fine i have also tried moving the connector about no joy. I have a multi meter how which setting do i check with? it's digital. As i don't want to blow anything. the reversing light bulb and holder IS working on the fog side just not on it's proper side.

If the reversing light connector and bulb work on the fog side (does the fog work on reversing side?)

Has to be a fualt from connector back. First think to check is that you are getting 12v at the connector - wire the multimeter up to the connector (probe in each side) set the right voltage reading and turn on.

Next if you get 0 there recheck the fuse but if your multimeter tests for continuity fast way is set it to it - exposed contacts one either side and test.

If the fuse is ok (check all just in case) and the connector is still 0 have a quick look for faults at the socket and then the loom 30 seconds before driving to the dealer with a gift (your car) for them! Mike
