Whats that got to do with something beginning with aqr? Whistle

In any respects it ought to read, ‘should that nut be centered’ Wink For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Ain't.quite.right was what I thought?

How do you know it's just the washer that's not central?

I was thinking it would explain why when applying the hand brake there's a lot of movement in the lever yet if I move a metre forward there's very little movement along with the vibration at about 53mph?

Along with the sensation of the drum binding when slowing down?

Aha back to square one then?

whats it got to do with anything more like Rolling with laughter

if it was the nut off centre , shaft bent , flange machined wrong etc , if it was any of these it would be like driving a wacker plate down the road

you can see the different gap on each side off the washer against the flange

could be wrong washer , hole to big

could be wrong washer

but sorry caterham don't think it will cure anything but not right all the same

might be wrong but think the proper washer is dull zinc coated or cadmium plated , that one looks bright zinc coated

didn't you have the rear output seal recall done , maybe they replace the washer when they do that

Caterham,I do not know about nuts but you are driving me nuts, I need to know what word you have found beginning with ‘aqr’, I am a Scrabble champion and if such a word exists it would be an incredibly high scoring one, I have to know. munch90 - wasn't sure what they did (if anything) but yes it went in for the recall on the handbrake re oil contamination so perhaps you're right and the wrong washer went back on ?

gilarion - sorry my mistake. not realising we had scrabble champions on here I may have mis-lead you. it was actually 3 words not just one word. a for ain't, q for quite and r for right. I hope that clears thing up and once again apologies for my lack of consideration.....

back to business. the left shoe seems to ride up vertically and is worn more at the top. I've noticed this before were the shoes don't seem to line up with the back plate and the retaining springs are twisted but I can't understand what's making the left shoe ride up and then the leading edge rubs on the drum. seemed to be quite a lot of dust in there considering the very few times I've deliberately applied the drum while moving?

Your are magnanimously exonerated, with no antipathy shown in relation to your platitudinous. In fact my demeanour is now providential, and effervescent in recognizing that no such expression exists. A coat of paint and it's back on tomorrow - just wondering how to stop the left shoe from working it's way upward and rubbing on the drum?
