re fitting exhaust
How much of a gap is there between the front (cat) pipe and the middle silencer, mines about 4mm,is that normal??I've cleaned both faces but it wont go any closer.

IIRC the seal is made when the pipes are joined together, with one sitting inside the other, not on the actual flange that the bolts go through. It'll be obvious if this is the case because the pipe will extend beyond the bolt flange. Tom
