I am seriously considering side and rear quarter Landyglass fitment. I have contacted Landyglass together with a local fitter from the Landyglass website for details of cost and process.
My question is thus does anyone have or know of anyone in my regional area that has this fitted that I can go and have a look at? I have never seen one close-up and would like to before I commit. I know Killer has experience of Landyglass and Gum has it fitted on his (which is the same colour as mine) but unfortunately I think they're both a bit far. I am thinking of rather than tinting the the standard rear windows in my 110 Utility to have landy glass fitted, although only yesterday have seen another product by Masai who are only 20 mins from me but have not heard or seen reviews of their product.
Interested to see if others have gone down this route and have any photos. |

I wasn't aware that the 'opening' in the side of the vehicle increased, I thought the glass bonded to the existing panel ????

I think it depends on internal trim. Obviously dependant on hole/cutting size with a hardtop perhaps the view would be more panoramic than say with a station wagon where the field of view wouldn't change due to internal trim fitted?
Will take you up on it Russ thank you. In particular closeups of the rear offside quarter panel top hinge area and the edges where the side and rear quarter panels meet on the edge please. Sorry to be so specific but it's a large outlay and I really would like to see as much detail as possible. If anyone that has this fitted and could oblige perhaps and post such pictures in the interim it would be great thank you.
