Not started fitting the light yet, I had some security bolts for it and can’t remember where I put them Big Cry so I’ll have to have a dig around in the garage tomorrow and if I can’t find them I’ll have to order some more.

Do you want to borrow my excavator for that dig around in your garage? Last time I looked in your garage it was rammed! Rolling with laughter

Fitted the light but not wired up yet as my nose and fingers were that cold I thought they were going to drop off.

I asked my twin 13yo daughters to have a go at marking out to drill the holes first and gave them half an hour Rolling Eyes all I can say is what are schools for now a days, they could barely read a tape measure Rolling with laughter time to get them doing a few jobs in the garage next summer so they learn something other than copying what's on a board! Ray

Looks good Cool What will you do about the washer jet? I've always thought on the rear door would be a good place, hidden by the spare too Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

To be honest I don't think I've used the rear washer once in the last 5 years so I was just going to leave it off. I figure if I ever want to take the light back off I've just got two small rivets to put in and paint and the washer jet can go back on. Ray

Are you going to have it on a three way switch?

On with reverse, off or on manual? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I don't think I'll have it on with reverse, I think I'm going to have a switch in the front and one in the boot so I can switch it on from either end when needed. That's if I can work out how to wire it that way Big Cry Ray

Depends if you want to be able to switch it on at one end and then off at the other?

I.e if you accidentally leave it on at the back and then get in to drive. You'll want to be able to switch it off from the drivers seat I'm guessing?

If so you want two double pole on-on switches that change over circuit as opposed to switch off.

This diagram might help Thumbs Up

I'd like it wired so I have to switch it on and off from the same switch each time, so if I've finished with the light at the back I have to switch it off there etc. Would it be safe and would it work like I'm thinking if I wire it up like this?

Disclaimer: wiring not my best subject Rolling with laughter

Yeah that would do it. But I think you'd find it handy to be able to turn it off from the other switch. It's only one extra wire to run Whistle 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
