yeah it is a long way to fall, my cob youngster keeps getting taller (should make at least 16h) and now Im the big 4...0 I dont bounce like I used to
What surprised me, the first time I saw them ploughing many moons ago is how fast they can go even pulling 2 furrows. Stunning. I cant believe the ignorance of some people, why would you stop a horse vs rugby team tug of war, surely that would be a bit of fun for everyone to see , The horse wouldnt have been bothered at all. 2003 Td5 90 2013 sport hse 2012 700 raptor quad 2012 siromer 4x4 tractor |

No the power of them is amazing, it wasn't a big shire and just dragged them around. When they first push into the collars you know about it.
I've had ours go on us a few times, one of them pulling the flat bed dray with the brake on, two tons on it and the other shire is nothing to them, they did take a three foot thick wall out once And when they stand on your foot, well thank god for steel toe cap boots you still know about it though |

Congratulations!! Great to see you helping this amazing breed. Am I right in thinking it's still classed as an 'endangered species'? James

Thanks Tim, James
Yes, the Suffolk is on the red list of endangered species. Considering they were once so numerous working the farms in East Anglia & elsewhere there aren't that many left at all now. Every single successful birth helps ...and Prince certainly is a handsome fella ...as are all the others here Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
