It's a Velar under the cover.

If it is, its a Velar on steroids .When i stand next to a velar its like an estate car that one looks very high up for an estate car look at the wing mirror height. If it was an SVR Velar unveil i would expect something lower dont see a SVX Velar being on the priority list. Have been known to be wrong many many times though Laughing D3 MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

The filename is MaltaVelarlaunch.jpg

And it looks like a Velar with a little plinth in front.

A little googling found this http://www.carcovershop.co.uk/reveal-carcovers.asp

Looks like that site has just pasted a photo they found on google. No relevance to the reveal.

England 2010 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Rimini Red

Speaking to a chap this weekend who’s son works for JLR and was in Portugal with JLR recently looking at the new Defender and he says the 90 looks nice and is worth putting a deposit on not to sure about the 110 and the 130 is just an extended 110 with the same wheel base. Shocked Shocked

Just bumped into a chap who admiring my Defenders. Chatting away, then he announces "I drove the new Defender last year" Shocked Obviously couldn't say much, just said " it's amazing, very advanced and has lots of bolt on options". Querying that it sounds expensive he just said "it won't be cheap". Oh and it's out in 2020. Project L366, I think he said. Sounds interesting, I wonder who he was?? James

United Kingdom 1984 Defender 90 Other ST Arles Blue

Hehe, whoever it was was elaborating a bit. The only new Defender's driving about are those funny shortened Range Rover Sport's pictured driving around. They are only powertrain testing so no features or options yet. That's the next stage of prototype.
Oh and it's L663. Thumbs Up My Defender: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39625.html - SOLD!

Australia 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 Heritage Edition SW Grasmere Green

I hope they do reveal it soon, as the wife is ready for a new set of wheels, & I was really hopeing to get her a nice small auto Defender. She does like the G300 Proffesional - although she has only seen the G350, & doesn’t realise that the G300 wagon is only a 4 seater, with manual door locks & wind down windows. I so want one, & it even looks like you can get it in a sort of Deep Bronze green. Just wonder how long the G300P will be in production with the new G wagons due out soon. I will be making some serious inquiries, as I realise life is passing way to quickly! 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up.
1977 RRC Suffix 'D'.
2000 Defender 110 TD5 Xtreme.
2015 Defender Heritage 90.
